Today, Batumi State University students participated in a workshop at the Supreme Election Commission within the framework of their project “Visit state entities.” The chairperson of SEC, Parmen Jalaghonia, informed students about the Supreme Election Commission's activities for upcoming parliamentary elections using technological innovations. The chair underscored the importance of youth engagement in the electoral process and their importance in developing a democratic society. At the end of the meeting, SEC member Irakli Gvarjaladze demonstrated new technologies, such as the verification, voting, and vote-counting machines, in practice. the participants took part in mock elections.
