Supreme Council Elections of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara was appointed on October 31 of the current year. President of Georgia issued the relevant legal act.

At the session the schedule of electoral activities for 2020 Supreme Council Elections was approved, where all election-related activities and terms are prescribed in detail.
At the same session, the commission adopted an ordinance on a minimal number of signatures of supporters necessary for nominating and registering a majoritarian candidate by the initiative group for the Supreme Council Elections.
The Commission members adopted the ordinance on granting the right to drug testing for 2020 Supreme Council Elections. Also, at the SEC meeting were discussed budgetary funds and some procedural issues.
