At the  meeting held on August 27, the Supreme Election Commission elected, a new member of the commission, Nodar Meladze, as a Deputy Chairperson. Majority of SEC members supported his candidate.

At the same session some procedural issues were discussed.The commission adopted two ordinances, one on approving the rules of using  and supplying fuel for personal vehicles by the eployees of the Supreme Election Commission  for official duties, and second one,on the number of employees employed under labor contracts during the 2020 elections.
