Representatives from the Supreme Election Commission (SEC) of Adjara observed the European Parliament Elections (EP Elections). On June 9, the SEC Delegation observed the elections in Bulgaria. Mariam Gugunava and Tamar Kamadadze, the SEC members, Fridon Batnidze, the head of the Legal and Human Resource Management Department, Nestan Nakashidze, the head of the Public Relations Division, observed the electoral processes at various polling stations and were introduced to the voting processes using new electronic technologies. In the Republic of Bulgaria, voting is compulsory. The voter can vote either by electronic machines or by ballot paper. The SEC delegation was on an official visit to the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria and met Ana Davitashvili, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Georgia to Bulgaria.
